This bike trail makes a 38-mile round-trip loop in beautiful Pickens County. The full trip takes about 6 or 7 hours to complete but can be broken into several smaller stages.

The trail begins with easy cycling and becomes more mountainous and challenging as it proceeds north. Although it is primarily road biking, you can still enjoy some solitude, and beautiful vistas await you. The trail passes through the City of Pickens and through the northeastern section of Pickens County. Keep an eye out for hand-painted quilt panels (the connecting points of the trail). They are displayed on barns and places to stop and rest along the way. The quilt blocks as well as historical signage and other stops tell the story of northern Pickens County.

Suggested points to start the trail are either the Easley or Pickens Doodle Trail Trailheads. Both sites have parking and restroom facilities.

From Pickens Doodle trailhead take:

1. E. Cedar Rock Street
2. Right on Stewart Street
3. Left on E. Main street,
4. Turn right onto SC N178
5. Continue to junction of Hwy 178 and Hwy 11 E. Turn right, follow Hwy 11E until you reach
6. Hwy SC 8S toward Pumpkintown.
7. Follow Hwy 8S back to PIckens Doddle Trail Park.
