Tour Overview
Hello, and welcome to Valley Forge National Historical Park!
Before you start your bicycle tour today, we have some safety tips to ensure you have the best ride possible. First, please stick to the Joseph Plumb Martin trail. Riding on the main road can be unsafe when sharing traffic with first time visitors in their vehicles, so we ask that cyclists stick to pedestrian trails in Valley Forge National Historical Park. Second, when riding an e-bike, you may not exceed 10 miles per hour. Third, please be mindful of pedestrians and your fellow riders. When you are approaching another visitor, please use a bell or verbally make your presence known stating “on your left” and pass carefully. Finally, please use the hand signals in the introduction picture when turning, stopping or slowing if you are an experienced rider. Thank you!
