Welcome to this year’s Full In Annual meeting. We’ve spent the last five years developing, refining, and executing on a process we believe will outperform the existing best-practices in growth equity: combining the entry timing of venture capital with the hands-on, company building aspects of true private equity. The trends we are observing give us confidence that we have cracked the code on how to create unique, successful companies through a process that mirrors that of master artists. We follow a consistent process, but our approach, inspiration, and execution differ company to company. We hope this year’s meeting sheds light on our passion for envisioning what a company could be, planning what we’ll need to help the company reach its potential, sketching the roadmap of how to get it there, refining our plans as we learn more and see the company evolve, critiquing our methodology and the company’s performance relative to our vision, and ultimately presenting our companies to the buyer’s market to price our work’s effort. As usual, it wouldn’t be Full In if we didn’t do this with a twist. We hope our love of the arts and our sense of shared identity inspires you to take a look at private equity through a more abstract and unexpected lens.
