A 5 mile linear walk from Swanley into the nearby Darent Valley countryside, enjoying breath-taking views as well as impressive heritage features in Eynsford village.
Start point: Swanley station
End point: Eynsford station
Length: 5 miles / 8km (*alternative route to Shoreham station is an additional 2.6 miles / 4.3km)
Terrain: Some pavements but mainly fields and tracks. Undulating path. One section of road walking with no pavement. Road crossings. Follows a section of the Darent Valley Path
Accessibility: There are steps, gates and stiles on this walk

On The Way: Take in breathtaking views across the Darent Valley landscape. Enjoy stunning heritage sites and features including Lullingstone Roman Villa, Eynsford Viaduct and Eynsford’s humpback bridge and adjacent ford. Follow the Darent Valley Path for the latter part of this walk. Alternative extension to Shoreham station passing Lullingstone Castle, Lullingstone Country Park and the lavender fields at Castle Farm.
