Tour Overview
Small pioneer village with active printing press museum
In 1974, local individuals who liked to tinker with "old" machinery began getting together once a year to "play" with their collections. The collection of old machinery needed a home and the group needed a name. The South Central Threshing Assoc. was formed. Through the hard work of the "Founding Fathers" and their spouses, this association has grown and collected a massive amount of History. The traditions of the past come alive on the first weekend after Labor Day each year on the Threshing Grounds. The Threshers are now a 501 3 (c) non-profit.
