Lookout North

This is the first of two lookouts along Gee North Arm TrailIt will take you 10 minutes, gradual sloping down hill trail (4wd access for NSW Parks Service), so a easy walk to good views facing North across Colo OEC, taking in the Colo River and Upper Colo communityBeware of the cliff edges Enjoy the view

Hike Gee Arm North Trail Briefing

Welcome to your self guided hike,Please move directly to meet the Colo Rosa Bus in the top carpark, check off that your attending the hike with the driver and board the bus.Take atleast 1 litre of water, hat, sunscreen and appropriate clothing for the one hour hike experience.If your walking alone, please be aware the bus needs to depart the hike carpark approximately 5-7 minutes before the end of session to get back in time for lunch and the end of the day farewells / coaches departures. Please be on time and watch your walking pace if you are attempting to reach the Western lookout (it's 4.4km return from the bus parking)Be aware of snakes, local animals and cliff edges once on the trail. The bus will be carrying a basic first aid kit, radio for communication with Colo OEC and there is excellent mobile phone coverage (Telstra only) from the parking area and along the hike route.If bitten, apply pressure immobilization bandage directly to the bite location, call for assistance to Colo OEC 0490465877 (or via VHF radio) and remain calm and still.

Lookout West

Congratulations on getting here, it's quite a distance. The property below is Ferrari Farm and their lagoon, you can just see Colo OEC in the distanceTake a selfie, don't fall off the cliff and start to head back to the bus, as it's mostly uphill on the way back

Left Turn

There's a junction here, turn left to continue to Lookout West - another 400 metres. There is a gate in 50 metres and the trail goes downhill to Lookout West from hereIf you have run out of time, return to the carpark to your trip back to Colo OECDon't be late!
