Tour Overview
This self-guided audio tour will take you around Mid-Wales' most famous seaside town, Aberystwyth.
The tour begins outside the RNLI lifeboat station. You can find directions to the start point here.
The tour ends on top of constitution hill. You can walk up the hill or take the cliff railway (it's also possible to listen to the final audio tracks without climbing the hill if you don't want to).
On the tour, you'll make your way down Aberystwyth's Victorian promenade, learning about the history of the town and its past residents. You'll pass by the old college, the pier, the castle, and several historic streets and houses.
The audio will guide you and automatically play at each stop. You can also follow the route using the onscreen map.
You can manually play a different audio track by tapping on the stop and hitting the play button.
You can download the tour before setting off, however, don't press 'Start Tour' until you are at the first stop.
Ensure you have a decent amount of battery before setting off.
