ABTRK is a Miami-native whose work can be found across the United States and Caribbean. His work is meticulously detailed to provide movement and color while keeping to his signature human forms.@abstrkhttp://www.abstrk.com/aboutENTES is considered one of the graffiti pioneers of Lima. His work often covers a variety of surfaces, including walls, shipping containers, and building facades. His signature characters have large eyes and pronounced features.@entes93This mural combines fictional character with faces of iconic graffiti artists. Abstrk and Entes intermingled the portraits done so it's difficult to tell which artist drew which face. Their style really meshes well together. AMERICAN HISTORY
Commissioned by The Museum of Graffiti, the "AMERICAN HISTORY" mural takes up half a block of wall space to showcase the work of seven local artists and others who contributed to telling the stories held within each letter. This mural was created as a tribute to the Black Lives Matter movement and ongoing fight for civil justice in the United States.Each letter laid across what resembles yellow crime scene tape showcases crucial moments in black history, including key leaders and figureheads in the movement. CES X YES2 X DOVES X MAST
CES, YES2, DOVES and MAST are all NYC based artists. They all come from a graffiti background and have transitioned to professional artists. From tattoo artist to scenic background artist for tv shows and commercials.This mural is a collaboration that was solicited by the Museum of Graffiti for their grand opening during December 2019. The mural depicts the origins of graffiti, from the subway era in the 70's and 80's then transitioning to freight train art and street graffiti. Subsequently, the art form became popular and less taboo. People began photographing the art and it became unbelievably popular. The final section of the mural on the right side, shows a stamped passport and an iMessage of an artist landing in a foreign town reaching out to a fellow artist to go paint. This is common practice nowadays for artist traveling. ERNI VALES
ERNI is an original graffiti pioneer from NYC. Best known for his development of the 3D graffiti style. He's gone on to build a portfolio of work ranging from murals, street art and fashion.This mural depicts Alice in Wonderland and Rabbit, a subway car with graffiti and a trippy scenario of a zebra unicorn. There is also an abstract ERNI (artist name) in the middle and "Crush City II" on the top. JONONE
JONONE is originally from NYC, he became known by tagging "JON 156" around the city. In 1984, he founded 156 All Starz crew, and in 1987 moved to Paris which is where he made a name for himself within Parisian street art circles, eventually hosting his own shows and showing within French art galleries.This mural started with a started huge JONONE tag across the entire wall. Then the artist came back with help from his assistant and using buckets of house paint and brushes completely concealed the original tag creating a large scale abstract mural. LADY PINK
LADY PINK is one of the first major female graffiti artists to emerge in the growing subculture during the 1980's. This NYC based artist rocked walls and subway trains all over the city and had a starring role in the iconic street-culture-based movie, "Wild Style." Today she has a cult-like following, her work being renowned by collectors and living within museums around the world such as the MET in New York City and the Groningen Museum of HollandIn this mural, Lady Pink illustrated a young woman leading another in colorful leggings and a "pussy hat" (inspired by the 2017 Women's March.) NIELS
NIELS "SHOE" MEULMAN is an iconic graffiti writer from Amsterdam. He his accredited with the "Calligraffiti" movement. His work is a hybrid of calligraphy through graffiti techniques and mediums. His gestural paintings often reveal his calligraffiti when viewing them from a different angle.This mural reads "SHOE, Negative Space" which was the name of the Museum of Graffiti's inaugural art show in which Shoe was exhibited. QUAKE x BACON x HIERO
HIERO was born in Brockton, Massachusetts, known for his murals created with hyperrealism. Aerosol spray paint is his preferred medium. The more you look at this mural, the further you uncover the details that went into its design. Notice the skull in the center and the horse or unicorn running out of the top right side of the piece.@hieroveigaQUAKE is a Miami native who comes from a graffiti background. REDS
REDS is a local Miami artist. REDS has held her own for years as the only female in one of Miami's most renown graffiti crews, 004.This is REDS largest mural to date. Comissioned by the Museum of Graffiti in 2019, the mural her signature graffiti letters. IVAN J. ROQUE
IVAN J. ROQUE is a visual and street artist from Miami, Florida, raised in the inner city of the infamous Carol City. His environment influenced a passion and artistic expression for the concepts of birth, death, renewal and social struggles.The mural was painted in 2021 for The Museum of Graffiti and sponsored by Flor de Caña Rum. The piece depicts the country of Nicaragua with the idea being of the fluidity of liquid or, in this case, nature being spread when poured from a vessel whether it being a bottle or the mind. At its centerpiece a volcano sits surrounded by the native flora and fauna. SLICK
SLICK is a Hawaiian-born artist with roots in Los Angeles. His "Mickey Mouse" hands are the most iconic and recognizable staples of his work.In this mural created on the side of The Museum of Graffiti for their grand opening. TERMS X MARVEL
TERMS is a Miami native. Terms is one of the original pioneers of Miami graffiti. He began his graffiti career in the late 80's and has been painting ever since. HIs pieces deal with knowledge of self and awarness. His primary medium is aerosol paint, although he is prolific with brushes, markers and rollers as well. This piece was solicited by the Museum Of Graffiti for their grand opening December 2019.@rasterns37MARVEL is a Swedish born artist who comes from a graffiti background and has transitioned into an abstract muralist. TICOE is a Miami graffiti artist. His classic Miami style letters are representative of classic graffiti.@ticoeTERMS is a Miami artist with his origins in graffiti. He has evolved into much more than that. Taking his creative talents to new levels with socially responsible messages via his art.@rasterms37This collaboration of two Miami artists features TICOE's graffiti lettering on the left and RASTERMS' signature street angel on the right. The "O" in TICOE is comprised of a crying earth that dissolves into the background galaxy, perhaps symbolizing our planet's suffering and the ramifications of our toxic environment. JEL MARTINEZ
JEL MARTINEZ is an artist from Miami whose paintings are inspired by the methodology of vandalism removal. His art focuses on recreating multilayered walls that are seen in urban landscapes.“Patria y Vida” is Spanish for “Homeland and Life.” Simple yet bold, the mural painted in 2021 for the Museum of Graffiti represents a message through the power of art in regards to Cuban liberty. In an Instagram post describing the piece Martinez writes: “The people of Cuba are being arrested, having their radios seized, and being silenced from singing the anti-government song Patria y Vida. All murals that say Patria Y Vida have been buffed by the authorities, so we are using our platform in the middle of Wynwood to make sure we carry out their message. We stand in solidarity with our neighbors.” In another post, he concludes: “Life is too short to suffer, Life is made to hustle.
