1UP is an international graffiti crew, notorious for their ability to bomb the most impact spots. Organized in 2003, these wild children caused havoc in cities worldwide. Spreading their 1UP stamp on subway cars, wrecked ships & rooftops everywhere.This mural is one of the most in-detail pieces 1UP Crew has done to date. Within the letters of their crew name, are references to some of their most iconic pieces around the world. Notice the ship wreck on the bottom left. This is a reference to the ship 1UP "bombed". 2 ALAS is an arts collective consisting of Andrew Antonaccio & Filio Galvez known for their black and white portraits, abstracted by colorful, geometric designs. With Puerto Rican and Cuban origins, the duo now lives and works in Miami.Inspired by Caravaggio’s The Incredulity of Saint Thomas, the mural combines and reflects the distinctive style of each artist, creating a unique blend of realism and abstraction. Fun fact, when the video pans right, on the opposite wall there is a CAPE (Copenhagen) and a JES piece. JES is considered one of the first graffiti writers in Denmark. He imported a new art form to Copenhagen.One of the most recognized graffiti artists from that region of Europe, SABE, credits JES with inspiring him to start painting graffiti.It was destiny, that by complete chance, JES and SABE were in Miami at the same time.

BK FOXXX is a New York artist who paints photo realistic murals. She has the talent to only in spray paint without stencils or projectors.This mural named "Overrated", was painted in December, during Art Basel 2019 for the Wynwood Mural Festival. It was painted over twice with subject in different poses to create a GIF for media use. The concept for the mural was conversation the artist had with an acquaintance. That person mentioned to the artist that if she wasn't showing in Art Basel she would be doing herself a disservice. “COES SNEAKERS'' or Natanael Marrero, is a visual artist, graffiti writer and tattoo artist from Caracas, Venezuela. He is an active member of the Caribes Tribu and CMS graffiti crews. His work investigates how the "Sneaker phenomenon” began to transcend cultures, races, classes and nationalities, becoming a fundamental part of the identity of the users and influencing social dress codes.The piece “Objeto de Deseo - Símbolo de Indentidad” translates to “Object of Desire - Symbol of Identity.” This artistic style can be referred to as ARTvertisement, as it presents as an ad for Nike and Adidas sneakers. Martinez believes that even though shoes primarily serve a practical purpose, they also exert influence in fashion and identity. He examines how sneakers can represent non-verbal cues and symbolic messages. COVID-19 BOMB

SCOTTY is an alias for the artist that remains to be unknown.Scotty says he and his dog have walked past a metal pole sticking out of the sidewalk at an angle near 23rd street and 5th ave. countless times. Over the course of several nights, he primed and spray-painted the pole Army green a couple of times and used a strong adhesive to secure what look like bolts along the sides. He found an abandoned traffic cone during one of his walks with Lea, his dog. He attached plastic fins to the traffic cone to make the missile's tail section. And when everything was done at home, he went out one final time, earlier this month and glued the tail section to the pole. Now it resembles an unexploded missile half-buried in a patch of torn-up pavement.

CRUNK tribute piece

CRUNK was a Miami graffiti writer who, sadly, passed away. Some of his crew mates (TCP) painted a tribute graffiti piece with a portrait for him in 2015. Memorial tributes are common practice in graffiti. If someone passes. it's not uncommon for crew members to pay homage to their fallen member with a mural. These pieces command respect and it would be a serious sign of disrespect to vandalize these tributes.

EARSNOT is a notorious NYC-based bomber and tagger and founder of Irak Crew. EDUARDO SANABRIA

EDUARDO SANABRIA is a Venezuelan fine artist who traveled to Miami specifically to paint this mural. His style often incorporates themes of pop art while illustrating his subjects.This mural was painted in July of 2020 as Miami coped with another surge in COVID-19 cases. The subject in the mural is Jose Gregorio Hernandez, a highly renowned Venezuelan doctor. EL MAC is an internationally renowned artist born and based in Los Angeles. He began painting both indoor works as well as public murals and graffiti in the mid '90s. Since then he developed a unique visual aesthetic and rendering style which utilizes repeating contour patterns. His work draws on influences from classical European art, social realism, symbolism and devotional art, as well as the Chicano and Mexican culture he grew up around. He is best known for his meticulous paintings and large-scale murals exploring feminine beauty and honoring ordinary, overlooked, or marginalized people."A Love Supreme" (Wynwood Saints)This mural was pained by El MAC over a duration of over 5 months with no assistant. Dealing with the Miami heat and the erratic weather. He painted from dusk to dawn on a swing stage. Using only spray paint. With the help of a photographer, El MAC was able to attain pictures of local folks for references.The image on the left is "Mandolina", a young woman who runs a nearby community garden. The figure in the middle "Jamaii", is a young ballet dancer. HOW and NOSM are twin brothers born in Germany. These brothers come from a graffiti background. IAN THE PAINTER X DONNIE DESTRO

This mural by Ian the Painter and Donnie Destro honors Robert Smalls, an American naval pilot and politician. Smalls freed himself, his crew, and their families from slavery during the Civil War by seizing a Confederate transport ship and sailing it into Union waters. His bravery and example is considered a key component in President Lincoln’s decision to accept African American soldiers into the Union army.Smalls was later elected to the US House of Representatives during the Reconstruction era. RESILIENCE FORCE

This mural was painted in October 2020, sponsored by the National Immigration Law Center and Resilience Force. The mural shows a migrant worker tending to farm land to provide food to our communities. A sign in the right corner reads "Immigrants are essential, ICE is not!" paying tribute to migrant workers as essential workers during the COVID-19 pandemic. This was my favorite mural of that 2016 Art Basel season.

VHILS aka Alexandre Farto, who was born in Portugal. He grew up on the outskirts of Lisbon, in an area that had been deeply affected by the Carnation Revolution in 1974. This block between 32 and 33 street is a great mash up of different styles. Here you have graffiti, cartoonish characters, some abstract art. The wall was also painted by a variety of artist from all over the world.

YERA

YERA is a muralist and artist whose work channels emotion through its connection to activism and heritage.@la.yeraThis mural painted in December 2020 honors Vanessa Guillen, a 22-yr old Fort Hood soldier killed in April 2020 after experiencing sexual harassment at the hands of an Army sergeant. It aims to bring awareness toward the way sexual misconduct and assault is addressed within our military. The I Am Vanessa Guillen Act would create an independent system that service members can confide in, have investigations done outside of the chain of command, and make sexual harassment a punishable crime under the Uniform Code of Military Justice.

ZAME x AMOS x KLASS x SECRET

The other 4 graffiti pieces in order from left to right:ZAME, a New York graffiti artist and member of the FC crew painted in a traditional break-fast style in which the letters seem to be popping and locking as if breakdancing.@zamefcAMOS, a Miami artist painted in a traditional style, having his piece go all the way down to the sidewalk similar to the bottomless subway car pieces from the 80's.@pedro_amos_KLASS, a New York graffiti pioneer, starting his career in the late 70's. Notice the classic connections between the letters and splash fill-in coming from the center. He also painted the checkers in the back that brings the whole wall together.@klassiknyctdsSECRET, an true old skool Miami graffiti writer has his roots and style from a classic NYC crew FC, which he is a member of. He painted all the characters in traditional "mugs style'.@almightychillskiThis collaboration was painted on the studio of famed Brazilian artist Romero Britto. These 4 artist created this graffiti production in March of 2020, amidst the beginnings of the lock down due to Covid 19. SECRET painted a nice tribute portrait on the far right of the artist Romero Britto.

KET, AMOS, SKINS, CAPE, SABE painted this production in 2018.Artists AMOS is a Miami native. KET and SKINS are long time friends from NYC. CAPE and SABE are artists from Copenhagen. All 5 artists are very prolific graffiti and met in Wynwood to rock this production. SHEPARD FAIREY is an American contemporary street artist, graphic designer, activist, illustrator, and founder of OBEY Clothing, which emerged from the skateboarding scene. He first became known for his “Andre the Giant Has a Posse” sticker campaign while attending the Rhode Island School of Design. Like all of SHEPARD FAIREY'S work this mural is inspired by propaganda and depicts the official fruit of Florida and illustrates the human recklessness of how we treat the environment.
