Dwayne Fratz owns this circa 1937 (or ’38) barn along Accident Bittinger Road, with this original Schoolhouse pattern block. The barn is located at the former W. H. Fratz, Inc. where a grocery store, feed store, as well as a home and warehouse and hardware store once stood.The barn quilt was donated by Linda & Hans Underwood, to honor the memory of Linda’s mother, Martha Leese. The school-themed quilt is aptly mounted on a barn very near Accident Elementary School.
