Rural Route to Duntroon

This tour will take you from Ōamaru to Duntroon via the inland route. This story-packed tour will introduce some of the geological and social stories of this part of the Geopark. Make sure you have time when you arrive in Duntroon - a place of history and discovery.

Some of the stops involve walking on uneven paths and across farmland - not all trails are suitable for people with mobility issues. Protection and guardianship is at the heart of the Geopark philosophy. Please respect the land and the animals, do not leave litter and use toilet facilities provided.
