2. Claire Redford Painting

I’m an artist who loves creating bright, colourful paintings. I primarily work with oils and love using smooth, bold brushstrokes that add movement and energy to the canvas. I love using colour to create pieces that feel alive, expressive, and full of warmth. I want my work to bring light and happiness into everyday life in the form of something that hangs on your wall and makes you smile and feel good when you look at it. At my open studio, you will have the chance to purchase original oil paintings, pre-framed and ready to hang. You will also have the opportunity to create a piece of your own art – in the form of small water-colour painting on canvas that you can take home and hang with pride.

She tries to create vibrant, dreamlike illustrations that transport viewers to a place of wonder. She has an appreciation for the imagination, and try to capture the essence of a world where anything is possible. She personally feels there is no point in drawing something you can see in reality but instead, she wants to create a style that invites viewers to escape into a world of dreams, where the ordinary is transformed into the extraordinary. She wants to make her art a celebration of creativity, nature, and the infinite possibilities that lie within the imagination. Through her art, she invites others to connect with the magic around them and embrace the wonder that exists in the everyday.Studio will be down the driveway and there is the last door to the left. There is two steps up to get into the room. If it is windy, be careful opening the door.
